HKIDA officially launches the latest phase of the RIDA (Registered Interior Design Association) project. In the next two years, HKIDA will carry out a series of ambitious projects aimed at strengthening the knowledge and increasing professionalism of Hong Kong interior designers, including Mentorship Program & Master Talk series.

Mentorship Program
- HKIDA will implement and monitor a 2-year interior design mentorship pilot scheme for fresh graduates;
- Involve 30 interior design graduates and over 20 interior design company;
- During the 2 years mentorship period, mentees will work under qualified mentors and acquire a series of knowledge and skills associated with interior design professional practice;
- At the end of the 2-year mentorship period, mentees will have acquired Part 3 of interior design professional education as specified in the Professional Guideline for Interior Designers in Hong Kong.

Master Talk series
- Scheduled to be held in November 2015, the Master Talk series featured top international and local designers and educators;
- The talk will focus on educators on the 6 Body of Knowledge areas: Human Environment Needs; Interior Construction, Codes and Regulations; Products and Materials; Design Theory and Process; Communication; and Professional Practice. mentioned in the Professional Guideline;
- There will be seminars and workshops;
- HKIDA members can earn continuing education units by attending the Master Talk.
