RIDA UPDATE
With the publication of the report and the launch of the website, the Survey on the 2Es of Interior Design in Hong Kong – Education and Experience reaches a satisfactory conclusion. However, the RIDA project continues as we make public the results of this survey and let the industry, government, stakeholders and the general public know about the current state of interior design education and industry in Hong Kong. 2011 & 2012 HANDPAINTED WALLCOVERING DESIGN COMPETITION
This competition, organised by Goodrich Global Ltd., received tremendous support from design school students who used wallcoverings as their canvas to portray the everyday life in Hong Kong, blending culture and art into lifestyle. The awards presentation was held with the presence of special guest Mr. Steve Leung and Mr. Alfred Neo, the managing director of Goodrich Global. Not only ten delicate handpainted wallcovering art pieces imported from Beijing were exhibited, two professional handpainted wallcovering artists from Beijing were invited to demonstrate the process of handpainted wallercovering in this special occasion.
