HKIDA NETWORKING EVENT

HKIDA is pleased to organise a members networking event on 25 Aug 2017. Supported by our sponsor Rockfon, around 80 participants enjoyed the sharing session delivered by an acoustic specialist from Netherlands to explore acoustic design, which helps designers find solution that would counter acoustic comfort and low-light distribution.

25th ASIA PACIFIC INTERIOR DESIGN AWARDS 2017
LOCAL ADJUDICATION

HKIDA is glad to receive over 600 entries for the 25^th APIDA this year. The local adjudication has been completed on 25 Aug, 2017. The judging criteria are 4-fold, and they are Originality and Innovation, Functionality, Space Planning and Aesthetics.

All the local judges are celebrities in their profession. They are:

Nic Banks, Founding Director, Atelier Pacific
Antony Chan, Founder and Creative Director, CREAM
Tino Kwan, Founder, TinoKwan Lighting Consultants Ltd.
Lam Wai Ming, Founder and Design Director, Design Systems Ltd.
John Sellery. Group Managing Director, M. Moser Associates
William To, Creative and Programme Director, PMQ / Senior Consultant, Hong Kong Design Centre

After combining the scores from international judges later, finalists will be invited to attend the awards presentation ceremony on 23 Nov, 2017 at the Hong Kong Convention & Exhibition Centre. The winners of gold, silver, bronze metals, excellences and the Judge’s Choice will be announced during the ceremony.
